I use Kasa surge protectors and now have bought these single smart plugs. These work just as good as the surge protectors. The plugs connect quickly to WiFi when plugged into power and maintain a solid WiFi connection. The plugs respond quickly respond to phone app controls. Within the app you can pull reports of runtime, power usage, etc. You can set schedules or timers on the plugs as well. Very very handy plugs and I definitely recommend.

A friend of mine sent me here to get these. I had not heard of them, but they sounded like a great idea. It is nice to come home to lights after we’ve been out of the house. It’s also comforting to know that the lights will be one while I’m away so it appears as if somebody is at home. Even when the lights are on a schedule I’ve set, I can turn them on and off if I need to with my phone in my hand. They are very easy to set up on the app.
